"That's the odd thing. You seem to have no real magical training or martial training at all," Felih hums. "It doesn't make sense..." Still, he shakes his head and hums. "Well, if that's all there is, I suppose there's no harm in bringing you to the Waking Sands. It'll be safe there, and we can sort out what to do with you."

Felih laughs then. "It's called that because we apparently have a flair for the dramatic, and it was easier to say than 'the one hidden base in the middle of the desert.' Or 'the house at Vesper Bay.' You know?"

With that, he stretches and stands. "Well, if you're a dead man walking I'll assume you can't teleport or use the aetherytes, so we'll ride up to there, but it'll be a long trip," he says. "North through Zan'rak and west from Little Ala Mhigo, then through Central Thanalan, then through the city of Ul'dah... And then northwest from the city to reach Vesper Bay. Luckily I've nothing pressing at the moment."

"Well, if we go on ground, perhaps a week," Felih hums, "We could fly, but I'd rather not just spring my coeurl mount on my retainer again. He was already upset with me the last time I left Astra in his care... Ah, well, he gets paid plenty enough to handle it."

He looked outside the tent to where the coeurl in question is sprawled out lazily in the sun, by the chocobo who is seated nearby.

Felih laughs softly. "I've five, actually. Though my most trusted, Vehr'to, is the head of the lot. He often wrangles me into sleeping if I've been working too hard, and helps me tend to the coeurls and other creatures I bring home. Never thought I'd be in this position, but I'm glad for it."

He then grins, "Besides, it helps to have helping hands about when I need smaller things done."

"Do you remember aught of your station?" he asks curiously, before stretching. "And we ought to move north before the sun sets. Desert nights get quite cold, and traveling in the evening is the easiest in terms of comfort."

"I see. So not nobility or anyone of high rank... that just makes the masses harder to thin out," Felih muses. It would be easier to find out if a noble had suddenly gone missing, but one of the smallfolk? Tricky business.

"Well, we'll figure it out at the Waking Sands. Hop back up on Stormwind, and we can make it to Ul'dah before it gets too late out," he says simply. "We can stay at an inn there, maybe spend a day just exploring the city. Something may jog your memory- and if not, we continue onwards."
