Which means that the next thing that he knows is a burning sensation on his shoulder. He's had worse, the scar tissue on is arm is proof of that, but OUCH
there might be a little yelp here as the pain hits his nerves and he flinches.]

WIFECRUSHFRIEND WORRYAt least this distracts him from the injury?] 's no problem. [He won't stop the other boy from what he is doing but try to convey that really, it isn't bad - the ice really helps a lot.] Coffee? [Operation distract Timo: Start. Maybe it will work. He knows he's bad at small talk and has no clue what to say if this doesn't work, but coffee would be great and also something to talk about... but what does one say about coffee, other than that it is good - well, he could thank Timo for it if there isn't enough chatter to change the subject from Timo's side. And then... and then he will think of something. But yes. Thank him, that is a plan.]

But now it isn't ready yet and Finland found him working on it and this was why he was hiding away here in the first place. So what could he say. "'s a secret" will just raise more curiosity, right? And maybe even give it away. "Fer you. Not ready yet" would not work either because if he somehow manages to break it before he's done with it, accidentially using his power on the box or something similar, that would be a huge disappointment and he doesn't want to make Timo upset, that is the last thing that he would want.
Eventually he settles with a lie, because while lies are bad it should stay a surprise and if he says the truth it can't stay a surprise.] Class project.
[Aaaand moving on a bit too quickly.] Thanks. [Ah. Maybe... he should say more about the tea. So he gingerly picks it up and takes a sip - luckily the liquid isn't scalding hot anymore, so he doesn't hurt himself.] 's good. [Nice and black and strong.]

[He tugs on Björn's collar to try and get a peek at the burn, but then gives up and looks at him.] How does it feel? Need another ice ball?

He shakes his head at the last question, though. He should be good for the moment - some lotion later and nothing should remain. It wasn't that hot anymore, after all, even when it hit Björn's shoulder.]
Don't exhaust yers'lf.

[Timo settles down better, relaxing more now he's reassured that it's all right. He really didn't mean to hurt his friend.] It's not that bad. And I should have been more careful anyway.

[After all, it will be given to the other boy as a gift when Björn is done. He carefully sets the box down on his bag and pushes both under the bushes behind him, and then picks the coffee back up.] Coffe's nice, though. [Don't feel bad, he really isn't that hurt and having Timo look after him is nice (even though Björn enjoys looking after Timo even more...]

[He puts and arm around Finland's shoulders without a warning, pulling him closer just a fraction. Stay, please. But he needs no words to convey that, right?]

Lat'r. [It's comfortable right now, and he will leave his arm where it is.]

I missed this, you know. When you moved. I know it wasn't your fault! But it was weird not being able to see you all the time. [He missed everything, snuggles included.]

The question though is hard to answer. Hard to answer because it was something that will probably sound very silly when he says it out loud, but that was immensely important to him at that point. And still is, though he tries to distance his powers from his father's occupation these days. He never wanted to be like his father at all, in any way. He doesn't hate him, but he values loyalty very highly and his father obviously didn't, and then there are other things - he wants to be reliable and trustworthy, he wants to make people feel safe and loved.
He wants to make Timo feel safe and loved. And thus, he wants to be nothing like his father. He shrugs.] Furniture's often wooden. [That probably explains enough, considering that Timo knows that his father was in the furniture business.]
no subject
His hand finds Björn's, and then squeezes.] You know, it's completely different, making furniture to selling it. I mean, if you're making anything! Because that involves skill and thoughtfulness and creativity. It's like comparing a farmer to a chef - they both work with food, but in very different ways. [Timo brings Björn's hand up so he can kiss his fingers, and then rest his cheek against Björn's hand, smiling at him affectionately.] You'll always be better than him because, well, that's really not hard, but because you worry about being like him. That already sets you above him.
no subject
it will be the most embarrassing thing because what should he answer to the "why are you blushing" that will inadvertly come
he can't just say "because I love you" that would be impossible, not because Björn believes that homosexuality is an issue (he knows that there are people who have issues with it, but that was not how he was raised, and how could liking Timo be a bad thing anyway?), but because this is Timo and just. How do you even say such things, and what if he isn't interested, and it might destroy what they have... and really is this even the right time, wouldn't it be better to wait for graduation or for the end of university or... And it would be too much especially since they just got here and everything is new. He could of course always answer that Finland is just cute, because that is the objective truth (and also pretty and beautiful and handsome and so on). But wouldn't that give him away, even when it is just common knowledge people tend to not say it unless they are interested in the other person...
Back on track! Timo gave him actually a few good things to think about. This will take another few moments in which he is just looking at the green hedge in front of them.] Y' think better 's enough even when it's sim'lar?
no subject
I think even if you were doing exactly the same thing as him, you'd still be better because you're not him, you're you.
no subject
'd never do th' same thing. [His head snaps around and he stares at Finland in horror at that (and you know what kind of expression that means). He would never betray someone close to him like that.]
no subject
[At least he's too busy correcting what he said to notice how scary Björn looks right now, clinging to him closer. There's no way he's going to let his friend think that he ever meant to say that he's like his father.]
no subject
He really, really hopes that the other boy's words are true. (The time that his father spent with him and his mother really did not help his opinion of the man at all.)
So yeah, just holding his best friend/crush close for a bit.]
