[ The response is immediate, with both Aredhel and Artanis abruptly bursting into delighted laughter, and even Moryo's face twitches into a small smile, despite the water balloon that clipped his shoulder. Tyelko spits out a word that Amil would ground him forever if she heard, but he does not look up. Yet. ]

Sssh, 'Rus. [ Makalaure cautions, despite the big grin threatening to split his own face ] Maybe they won't look up.

[THe tinier boy falls quiet but still peers down with interest, and then the moment breaks and Tyelko jumps to tackle his cousin, yelling something that is hard to understand from the distance but is probably not good for bb!brother's ears anyway.

Ambarussa giggles. Look how sneaky they were!]

[ Totally sneaky, and if they knew what high fives were, they'd be totally giving them to each other.

Down below Irisse and Tyelko have devolved into shoving and Makalaure wonders if he should go down and break up the fight, but Artanis looks up at them knowingly and Moryo has gotten bored and wandered off. Perhaps the tree is safer? ]

[....his head is pulled back very quickly when he notices Artanis looking up at them. A look at Mags. Are they in trouble?]

[ A helpless shrug back. Maybe? It will depend on her mood, Makalaure knows. Instead he tips his head at his back - hop up, time to go and face the music down below ]

[It's a bit more complicated to climb on Makalaurë's back this time around, because tree and all that, but he manages to and then wraps tiny child arms around his brother.]

[ Down they go and Artanis meets them at the bottom with a knowing smile... and she's tossing a water balloon in her hands ]

[HIDING BEHIND BIG BRO SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD PLAN

sadly that means that Makalaurë will just fall over him if he tries to run straight away from Artanis.]

[ Fortunately Makalaure has had long experience with younger siblings, so when Artanis smiles sweetly and starts to count backwards from ten he turns, scoops up his younger brother and books it with a half terrified half gleeful whoop ]

[And the younger brother has enough experience with being scooped up that he easily accommodates it, peering over Laurë's shoulder to check what is going on there.

...Oops.] She's calling Irissë over, 'Laurë.

...Irissë has one of those things that I have a small one of, but hers is really large. It's almost as big as her, brother. [He sounds faintly worried here. That's a massive calibre right there.]
