When Arafinwë steps out of his study today, he'll find a certain nephew sitting on the porch, Aikanáro's cat in his lap and looking into the garden. He seems to be brooding - unusually so, it's not a typical expression on him - and is alone, save for the cat - even more unusual, as he tends to come over to visit his best friend or another of Arafinwë's children.

But here he is, sitting with a frown on his face and looking out at the calm greens.
