[Grumbling, Tauriel pulls her knees in tighter to get her feet away from evil staffs, and rolls closer to Legolas. Luckily, the party has died down enough that two children sprawled over a bench is hardly noteworthy.]

We're not complaining, we're commiserating.

[Legolas moans something Tauriel decides to take as agreement, and she shifts to drop her head on his shoulder. Those last few cakes were a bad idea.]

No commiserating, either. You are to take comfort in no one but yourselves when you've done such a thing, since you've only yourselves to blame for it. Therefore, take the both of yourselves to bed. Now.

We're comforting each other, [Tauriel protests, but she doesn't try to fight him on the bed issue. She's tired, and she's pretty sure that she'll feel better once she gets into bed. It's convincing Legolas to get up and go too that's the issue.]

We can't walk. Too full. [Legolas moans again, this time definitely in agreement.]
